Tasting notes
San Donato in Poggio. Sangiovese and other varieties. Mid crimson. Cool and concentrated red-fruit nose. Sappy red fruit with soft rustic tannins. Not crazily long, but well made. (WS)

In Chianti Classico’s warm northwestern corner, Antinori’s Pèppoli estate extends over 100ha. The 2024 harvest was drawn out from 10 September to the first week of October. Fragrant florals are joined by aromas of blackcurrant coulis and cinnamon. Suave and gracious, the palate expands with fresh red berries and a touch of leather. Featuring soft acidity and smooth tannins, this polished midweight red flows with ease.
