Tasting notes
The 2025 Tour Maillet has a straightforward but clean and focused nose: black plum, touches of date and sous-bois. The palate is medium-bodied with rounded, smooth tannins. Nicely judged acidity, lacking some grip, but there is decent length here. Give it just a few months in bottle and it should drink well for up to a decade.

Classic Pomerol notes of red and black fruits, spicy herbs, flowers, and chocolate emerge from the 2025 Château Tour Maillet, and it has some classy background oak. All Merlot, it's nicely concentrated on the palate, with medium to full body, juicy acidity, and polished, elegant tannins. It's a beautiful wine and unquestionably an outstanding effort.
Refined, balanced and textural, with dark berries and warm spices. Medium-bodied with plush tannins. Well shaped with a vivid and crunchy center palate and a long, flavorful finish.
The 2025 Tour Maillet is a very sexy wine. Bright red-toned fruit, cinnamon, rose petal, new leather, tobacco and incense are front and center in a juicy, mid-weight Pomerol that is all charm. There's gorgeous underrated depth and class here.
