The 2025 Reysson is an attractive Merlot-based Haut-Médoc. Dark red cherry fruit, leather, licorice, rose petal, menthol and dried herbs all meld together nicely. There's a bit of grippiness in the tannins, but élevage should take care of some of that.
Approachable and harmonious, the 2025 Reysson reveals aromas of mulberries, dark cherry and flowers, with cassis nuances emerging with aeration. Medium-bodied, juicy and tensile, it’s well balanced, built around a core of fruit with good depth, framed by a finely grained, velvety tannic structure and concluding with a long, delicate finish.
