The 2025 Les Pagodes de Cos Blanc contains more Sémillon due to the higher yield. It has a very refined bouquet, very pure and seductive, scents of white flowers, yellow plum and just a hint of chamomile. Oddly, it is a little Chardonnay-like! The palate is well balanced, with a crisp, edgy entry. I appreciate the acidity here, bright and lively, with a tang of lemongrass complementing the peachy fruit on the finish. Will be difficult to resist once in bottle.

A beautiful, richly textured white, the 2025 Pagodes De Cos Blanc is a Sémillon-dominated blend that includes 33% Sauvignon Blanc that's being raised in 12% new barrels. Its terrific perfume of honeyed citrus, orange blossom, mint, and chalky minerality gives way to a medium-bodied palate with nicely integrated acidity and outstanding length. It's going to be incredibly versatile at the dinner table, and this is a seriously impressive barrel sample from this team that shows how successful these Médoc Blancs can be.

A layered white with sliced lemons and lemon peel, with some lime as well as honeysuckle. Medium-bodied with plenty of texture and length. A blend of 67% semillon and 33% sauvignon blanc.

The 2025 Les Pagodes de Cos Blanc is a very pretty wine. Lime, chalk, mint and white pepper lend notable aromatic brilliance throughout. The balance of tension and textural richness is compelling. Sémillon drives the blend this year, as Sauvignon Blanc was more heavily impacted by low yields. Hints of jasmine and white pepper lift the brilliant finish.
