Tasting notes
The 2025 Dalem has a perfumed and floral bouquet, with touches of violet infusing the ebullient black cherry and raspberry fruit. Fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a keen line of acidity, velvety in texture, with commendable weight and finesse on the finish. What a very able, very delicious Dalem this will become.

Black cherries, framboise, sappy flowers, and violet all emerge from the 2025 Château Dalem, a classic Right Bank expression of sumptuousness from Fronsac. Based on 89% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Malbec that will spend 18 months in 40% new French oak, it's medium-bodied on the palate, with a pretty, focused, elegant mouthfeel, nicely integrated tannins and acidity, and outstanding length.
The 2025 Dalem offers a striking mix of fruit intensity and energy. Crushed red berry fruit, chalk, mint, white pepper, slate and blood orange give Dalem tons of energy to match its mid-weight personality. There's terrific energy and drive here. Tasted two times.
