Tasting notes
The 2023 Pinot Noir Anderson Valley comes entirely from the Savoy Vineyard this vintage. “We bought the vineyard partway through the season, so we decided to label it Anderson Valley,” winemaker Dan Fishman explains. Matured for 16 months in 49% new French oak, it has alluring aromas of briar fruit, chaparral, tea leaves and dried flowers. The medium-bodied palate is elegantly styled with a silky texture and fragrant, crunchy flavors. It’s balanced by juicy acidity and has a long, spicy finish. 1,090 cases were made.

The 2023 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard – Hendy Knoll is an attractive, aromatic Pinot. Crushed flowers, bright red-toned fruit, cedar and sweet pipe tobacco are some of the notes that grace this mid-weight, understated red from Donum.
