Very fresh aromas of black cherry, pepper, cocoa powder, ginger and cumin. Sweet, juicy and tight, with good penetration and spine to the dark berry and spice flavors. Finishes sappy, saline and long. Nicolas Groffier destemmed this fruit but added some stems back into the fermenter as he felt they were fully ripe.
