Unfurling in the glass with notes of orange blossom, lemon leaf and freshly baked bread, the 2024 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières is medium- to full-bodied, satiny and suave, with a glossy attack that segues into a seamless mid-palate, concluding with a saline finish.

The 2024 Meursault Les Perrières ler Cru has a finely tuned bouquet: lime flower, citrus peel and crushed limestone scents unfolding in the glass. Not powerful but precise. The palate is well balanced with an intense opening, a racy line of acidity making this very tensile, the back end very focused with real weight and presence. Excellent.

Three suppliers, picked on 15-16 September. Still in barrel at this stage. A glowing lemon and lime, showing the oak a little on the otherwise discreet nose. Starts discreetly in the mouth too, but the full weight of Perrières is present and the character of the wine really develops on the second half of the palate. This is properly intense and exceptionally persistent, with the oak being well integrated with the orchard fruit on the palate, suffused in the golden glow of Perrières.
