Coming from 99% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon, brought up in 90% new French oak, the 2023 Rapszodia is deep purple/ruby-hued and offers a beautiful, darker-fruited profile of black cherries, graphite, scorched earth, spring flowers, and hints of chocolate. Medium to full-bodied, impeccably balanced, and elegant on the palate, it has ultra-fine tannins, terrific mid-palate depth, and a great, great finish. Pure, classy, and world-class in every sense, it's going to evolve for 30+ years. Drink 2025-2055.

The 2023 Rhapszodia is a dark, sensual beauty that is just showing the barest hints of its potential. It’s a seductive, totally mysterious wine, one that reveals its many charms only with considerable coaxing. Dark-toned fruit, gravel, incense, dried herbs, mocha and sweet pipe tobacco all soar from the glass. In a word: magnificent.
