Tasting notes
The 2024 Pommard Clos Blanc ler Cru has a lifted, more intense bouquet than the other Pommards, with just a touch of soy that infuses the dark cherry and cassis fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy blackberry fruit and graphite notes. Quite muscular at the moment, especially on the finish, this deserves a few months in bottle to smooth its edges.

A dense saturated purple. The fruit on the nose is not the freshest, the sample rather than the wine. A little touch of oak. The dark cherries are back, with fewer tannins and good acidity. Flavours are ripe, the structure only just so.
