Tasting notes
The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon includes 10% Petit Verdot, blended at the fermenter. It's less expressive on the nose than the 2021 version but marries slightly herbal nuances easily with raspberries, cherries and dark chocolate. Medium- to full-bodied on the palate, it's framed by coarse-grained tannins while showing ample length on the finish.

A blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley offers a gorgeous nose of both red and black fruits, leather, graphite, and chalky minerality. Incorporating fruit from Vine Hill Ranch, Bench Vineyard in Stags Leap, and Diamond Mountain, it's medium to full-bodied and balanced, with beautiful tannins and smoky nuances. Drink over the coming 10-12 years.
The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is terrific. Rich, ample and seductive, the 2022 is quite pliant. Ripe dark cherry/plum fruit, incense, leather, tobacco, chocolate and menthol are all dialed up. This exuberant Cabernet Sauvignon hits all the right notes. It’s a gorgeous offering in its peer group.
