Tasting notes
Les Preuses was both badly hailed and mildewed, leaving just 4 hl/ha. Mid lemon yellow, starts quietly then a whiff of the real Preuses. Fills the mid palate, not quite so much behind. A little spice to finish. Slight lemon notes as well.

The 2024 Chablis Les Preuses Grand Cru was affected by hail. Because of that, it lacks a little energy on the nose compared to the Vaudésir. The palate is well balanced, clean and citrus-fresh, but this is just a bit short on the finish.

(Don't Miss)
(from two parcels of vines that total 2.55 ha, or 22% of the entire appellation; from yields of only 2.5 hl/ha in 2024). This is also wonderfully elegant, pure and airy with its combination of citrus, petrol, quinine, salt water and
algae. Here too the mouthfeel of the big-bodied flavors is dense to the point of being almost thick yet the natural refinement of a classic Preuses is maintained, all wrapped in a precise, palate staining, massively long and perfectly balanced finish. This is seriously good and while finding it may be well night impossible, if you do don’t hesitate!
