Score 95/100 · Drink 2025-2040, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Feb 2025
Bergman's 2018 Red Wine was fermented by Brad Grimes at Abreu's winery. Mint and bay leaf aromas accent cassis fruit on the nose, while the full-bodied palate is ripe and creamy-textured, framed by supple tannins, then finishing long and softly dusty, with lingering hints of mocha. I'm told this wine may be offered to mailing-list members as part of a library trio with the 2019 and 2020.
