Medium ruby, the 2017 Pinot Noir Emmaline Ann Vineyard offers tar, spiced blackberries, laurel, turned earth and hints of mushrooms and dried flowers on the nose. The medium-bodied palate is concentrated but delicately styled, grainy and fresh with an uplifted, spicy finish. 90 cases were made.

The 2017 Pinot Noir Emmaline Ann is very pretty and lifted in feel. Crushed flowers, sweet red berries, white pepper and chalk all give the 2017 a super-attractive upper register that works well with its mid-weight structure. This is a very pretty and nuanced wine.
