Sourced from rich red volcanic soils at Tench in Oakville, Fairchild's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Stones No. 3 features scents of loamy earth and fine suede married to ripe red cherries. It's full-bodied and densely concentrated but somehow silky at the same time, finishing tannic yet lush and long. Almost approachable already, it likely possesses at least two decades of longevity.

Deep ruby/plum-hued, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Stones No. 3 has a killer nose of ripe red and black fruit, new leather, scorched earth, camphor, burning embers, and liquid violet notes all defining this singular, ripe, opulent, yet structured Cabernet, one of the few 2022s that will benefit from bottle age.
