Tasting notes
A blend of vineyards and a selection put together by Smith, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Element Zero (100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is deep plum-hued with dense and powerful aromatics of red and black fruits, savory flowers, smoked tobacco, and graphite. Full-bodied, with an ultra-pure mouthfeel, it has fine, seamless tannins, no hard edges, and perfect balance. Just another heavenly, layered, multi-dimensional wine from this talented winemaker, it deserves 4-6 years of bottle age and will see its 30th birthday in fine form. Drink 2030-2055.

Unlike the Rarefied Air bottling, which comes from a single, undisclosed source, Myriad's 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Element Zero blends fruit from several sources. Mixed red and black cherries and red raspberries produce a cavalcade of fruit on the nose, while the full-bodied palate boasts ample concentration but an almost weightless, silky feel and a lingering, elegant finish.
