Coming from a site in the Anderson Valley, the 2017 Pinot Noir Split Rail Vineyard (16 months in 60% new French oak) reveals a medium ruby color to go with a great nose of mulled red fruits, dried herbs, and spice as well as a touch loamy earth. With bright acidity, medium body, and a balanced, elegant texture, it's beautifully done and should have a decade of longevity.
