Chassagne-Montrachet-like in its pure white flowers and crushed stone minerality, the 2023 Chardonnay Little Bit shows an incredible sense of class and sophistication. Based on Chardonnay and aged 22 months in 70% new French oak, it offers ripe stone fruits, medium to full-bodied richness, integrated acidity, and ample mid-palate density. It brings plenty of fruit while staying lively, juicy, and balanced, with perfectly integrated oak and a great finish. With roughly 365 cases produced, it should drink beautifully over the coming 7-8 years. Drink 2025-2033.

The 2023 Chardonnay Little Bit is powerful, ample and voluptuous in the glass, with notable supporting structure to balance out its more overt leanings. Ripe pear, white flowers, mint, chalk and white pepper all take shape in the glass. The Little Bit emerges from 28-year-old vines on a west-facing block rich in volcanic soils.
Aged for 22 months on the lees in 70% new French oak. Unfiltered and unfined. Peachy sweet. Tastes reminiscent of pear juice. Just a little sweet and then rather chewy on the end. Less appetising than La Doña and Ladybug. (JR)
A handsome, suave and ripe-tasting wine that boasts a full body and ultra-ripe pear and apple flavors generously spiced with vanilla, ginger and toast. Creamy and nicely viscous in texture, broad on the palate and the flavors linger in the finish. Drink now.
