Score 90-92/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Feb 2026

The 2024 Corton-Pougets Grand Cru (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot) offers up sweet, red-fruited aromas of cherries, raspberries and plums, followed by a medium-bodied, fleshy and supple palate that's open and giving this year.

The 2024 Corton-Pougets Grand Cru is understated compared to previous vintages, lighter yet well balanced and displaying plenty of finesse, wild strawberry mixed with raspberry and wilted rose petals. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly furry tannins, moderate weight, nicely balanced with a persistent quite peppery finish that leaves the tongue tingling. Not quite in the league of the best vintages but certainly fine in context of the vintage.

Crimson with a paler rim. Some darker cherry and a bit of raspberry. A fair crunch on the palate, though this has ripened to perhaps the optimum degree for the vintage. No more than middleweight, but an attractive Pougets.
