Score 95/100 · James Suckling, Dec 2025
Aromas of pine, sea breeze, berries and bay leaves. The palate is tense and energetic, with an engaging tannin and acid balance and flavors of tart red fruit and citrus peel. Drinkable now, but it will flesh out after 2027.

The 2023 Pinot Noir Tilton Hill was fermented with around 15% whole clusters and matured for 16 months in 40% new French oak. It has layered aromas of damp earth, conifer, mossy bark and pepper over a core of briar fruit. The medium-bodied palate is elegant and detailed with crunchy red fruit flavors. It’s structured by tea-like tannins and vibrant acidity and has a very long, spicy finish. 324 cases were made.
