Tasting notes
Deep purple-hued and modern in style, the 2022 Cuvée Des Générations offers pure blue and black fruits, spicy oak, pepper, and graphite. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated, and showing remarkable purity, it has ripe tannins and plenty of classy oak. Almost Paso Robles-like in its profile, this isn't for the traditionalist out there, but it certainly does the style beautifully, and I love its fruit and texture. A 50/50 blend of Grenache and Syrah, it spent 13 months in French oak barrels. It's going to keep for a decade.

The 2022 Vacqueyras Cuvée des Générations dazzles with melted licorice and black cherry compote alongside wood spice and cloves. Aged for one year in barriques, this is a full-bodied, concentrated, powerful red Vacqueyras with a solid structure and good length on the complex finish. Give it two more years in bottle to unleash its full potential.
