Score 90/100 · Drink 2002-2009, Robert Parker, Jun 2002
The dark ruby-colored 1999 Pinot Noir Beckstoffer-Las Amigas Vineyard exhibits a gorgeous nose of sweet black cherry fruit, licorice, and earth. This medium to full-bodied, pure, elegant, and nicely-textured wine can be drunk now and over the next 5-7 years. This is a very impressive Pinot Noir. Tel. (707) 226-9991

Deep, bright red-ruby. Very primary aromas of cassis, blackberry and redcurrant. Penetrating, rather extractive flavors of black fruits, with a slightly candied note. Not complex but fresh and intense. Firm acidity and ripe tannins give this pinot sound backbone.
