A saturated red color, the 2022 Ripple Effect is a solid offering in this hot vintage, with a more immediate feel, and offers ripe notes of polished leather, red plum, espresso, and crushed flowers. It’s full-bodied, with ripe tannins and an even feel, and while it doesn’t have the structure to be the longest lived, it has a lot of immediate hedonistic pleasure. Drink 2025-2035.
This is a pretty, accessible and elegant medium- to full-bodied wine. The nose shows red currants, graphite and roses. The palate is fresh and structured, with flavors of pomegranates, rose petals and tangerine zest. Fine-grained tannins are seamlessly integrated. Drink now.
