Score 93/100 · Drink 2016-2033, Jeb Dunnuck, Wine Advocate, Jun 2016
My favorite of the 2013s, and I think the wine of the vintage, is the 2013 Bandol Rouge Cuvee Cabassaou. It offers beautifully complex aromas and flavors of black raspberries, graphite, plums and Provencal herbs to go with surprising depth, richness and texture on the palate. While the 2013s are generally more mid-weight, this beauty has tons of texture and charm, all while still showing the cooler, pure, elegant style of the vintage perfectly. Give bottles 2-4 years of cellaring and enjoy through 2033.

High-toned nose. Polished fruit. Very tough tannins. (JR)
