1995 El Molino Chardonnay Rutherford

While not up to previous efforts, this wine is a fine example of California Chardonnay. The complex, leesy, oaky nose is slightly dominated by wood, but in the mouth, the wine's fruit is more forthcoming. Medium to full-bodied, tightly-knit, and more muted than I expected, this is a very good wine to consume over the next 2 years. Tel. (707) 963-3632
