Score 90/100 · Drink 2010-2018, Robert Parker, Apr 2010
This big time sleeper of the vintage is a blend of 50% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Petit Verdot, and the rest Cabernet Franc. An outstanding effort, it boasts a dense ruby/purple color along with a classic bouquet of charcoal, acacia flowers, blueberries, black currants, and a touch of licorice. Complex, medium to full-bodied, supple, and fleshy with abundant fruit as well as silky tannins, it finishes with considerable texture. This vineyard achieved 13.45% natural alcohol. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.

Clos Manou
Clos Manou is one of Bordeaux’s most under-rated addresses. The tiny estate is in the northern reaches of the Médoc, but produces wine that puts some Classed Growths to shame.
