Absolutely captivating aromatics of red, blue, and black fruit intermixed with forest herbs, bay leaf, black olive, and violets define the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Sentinel Ridge Vineyard. It's incredibly complex, medium to full-bodied, has fine, polished tannins, a great mid-palate, and a great finish. This has a singular profile that I suspect will evolve for 20-30 years. Drink 2025-2055.

The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Sentinel Ridge is a fabulous wine from Russell Bevan. The aromatics alone are captivating. Graphite, pencil shavings, chocolate, new leather, lavender, underbrush and bittersweet chocolate imbue the 2023 with tons of Howell Mountain character. This is a rare Russell Bevan Cabernet Sauvignon that is going to need a number of years to soften. Sentinel Ridge tops them all in 2023 at Bevan. Magnificent.
The 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Sentinel Ridge is a total turn-on. The aromatics alone are spellbinding. Graphite, crushed rocks, slate, sage and dried herbs are all beautifully delineated. I imagine this will need a few years in bottle to truly shine. It's a magical wine from Russell Beyan. This is a heavyweight.
From a small, Howell Mountain vineyard, Bevan's 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Sentinel Ridge features mocha-tinged aromas and hints of charred oak alongside cassis, black cherries and plummy fruit. Full-bodied but smooth and silky, defined by its super-ripe tannins, it remains focused and long on the finish.
