Tasting notes
Elegant but austere and tight, tight, tight. Arms are folded, jaw is clenched and it's folded in on itself. I feel that there is a lot more to this wine than it's giving away. I'd love to taste this in 10 years and after some considerable decanting time. (TC)

The 2005 Barolo Cerretta offers up an attractive array of perfumed red fruits in a soft, accessible style. There is plenty of plumpness to insure at least several years of fine drinking. The finish is round, soft and pleasing.
