Score 88/100 · Drink 2019-2020, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Oct 2020
The 1991 Corton Grand Cru is an attractive wine, but it is also fully mature. Dried cherry, mint, cedar, dried herbs, rose petal and wild flowers are all finely knit in this gracious, delicate Corton. The 1991 is not a huge or super-complex wine, but it is a real pleasure to drink. It is also a terrific effort for a hard vintage in which hail and frost presented significant challenges.
