Tasting notes
Vivid red. Expressive, mineral-laced cherry and red berry aromas are complemented by musky floral and herb nuances. Spicy and focused in the mouth, offering juicy red berry and bitter cherry flavors that slowly become sweeter and deeper on the back half. Shows refreshing spiciness and cut on a very long, penetrating finish that's framed by silky, harmonious tannins.

Aged in a mixture of used barrels, there is clearly exquisite red fruit expression adorning the 2013 Pinot Noir Clos Electrique, the oak extremely well integrated, all brightness and delineation with exuberant red cherry and fresh strawberry scents. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red cherry and wild strawberry fruit, a touch of salinity toward the finish that caresses the mouth. Long, tender and very refined. This is an excellent young "whippersnapper."
