Notes of cherries, red berries, petals and herbs preface the 2020 Santenay Les Hâtes, a medium-bodied, supple and seamless wine with melting tannins and a saline finish. It's a pretty, charming cuvée that will offer a broad drinking window.

The 2020 Santenay Les Hâtes Village is one of Moreau’s "secret weapons" and often over-performs. It has a floral, vivacious bouquet that shows wonderful purity and lift – just unadulterated Pinoté. The palate is medium-bodied, taut and fleshy, with supple tannins, fine acidity and a caressing finish. What’s not to like?
