Score 90-92/100 · Drink 2023-2035, Neal Martin, Dec 2020
The 2019 Vosne-Romanée Aux Champs Perdrix comes from 0.14 hectares of vines just above La Grande Rue. The 100% whole bunch informs an attractive nose of dark berry fruit and woodland scents and good delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly peppery opening, harmonious and persistent, revealing a touch of clove and cumin on the finish. Good potential. This will only be bottled in magnum.
