A go-to for your next spaghetti alle vongole, the Lis Neris 2017 Friuli Isonzo Gris is slightly closed at first, but the wine does open slowly to reveal citrus, stone fruit, melon, crushed stone and yellow rose. All said and done, this is a beautifully balanced wine with contrasting notes of fruits and flowers that grow in intensity and clarity thanks to the wine's natural freshness. The acidity is well preserved despite the heat and dryness of this vintage.

This has been glossed up with some woody spices and leads to a rich palate that supports ripe-fruit and oak influences well. Spiced pears and peaches on the finish. Drink now.
