Score 95/100 · Drink 2026-2036, Jeb Dunnuck, Jan 2026
Very Bordeaux-like, the 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon offers up complex currants, leafy herbs, tobacco, truffle, and leather-like aromatics. Based on 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that spent 19 months in 60% new French oak, it has beautiful depth on the palate and is medium to full-bodied with a balanced, layered mouthfeel, fine tannins, and nicely integrated acidity. This remarkably complex, layered, seamless wine is unquestionably fully mature yet should have a gradual decline over the coming decade or so. Drink 2026-2036.
