Tasting notes
92% Sauvignon Blanc, 8% Sémillon. Pungent gooseberry, grass, lemon zest and lime leaf. Dry, but the generosity of fruit is mouth-filling and luscious. High acid without being sharp. Really good winemaking – packs in the flavour, nails the balance, totally typical but with the flesh and intensity that sets it apart. (RH)

With 10% Sémillon, the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc presents bright citrus, with lemons, lime candies, gooseberry and grapefruit. Medium-bodied, it offers a fresh, balanced and crisp palate. Enjoyable with food, it boasts an energetic finish. The wine was kept on the gross lees for five months. This is a large production of 140,000 bottles.
Sweaty nose with pea-pod, lemon juice, sour citrus, high but rounded acid and good persistence. Comparable to the Marlborough model. (RH)
