Tasting notes
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, the 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Tapestry Reserve exhibits a toasty, French oak-dominated nose with licorice and black fruits in the background. At present, the wood has the upper hand. This dark ruby/purple-colored wine exhibits a smoky, black fruit personality, medium body, aggressive tannin, sweet fruit in the mid-palate, and fine purity in the finish. While it is firmly-structured, elegant, and concentrated, the tannin may be excessive. Anticipated maturity: 2002-2014. Tel. (707) 963-2411

Ruby-red. Black cherry, minerals, cocoa powder, tar and eucalyptus on the nose. Juicy and rather high-pitched in the mouth, but pliant and ripe, with a firm shape and good freshness. Finishes with dusty tannins and good length.
