Mainly Cabernet Franc, the 2020 Old Master Proprietary Red features scents of black cherries and cigar wrapper—there's even a vague sense of tobacco ash and grilled meat. It's medium to full-bodied in the mouth, perhaps slightly coarse in feel relative to the silkiness exhibited by both the preceding vintages, but the wine does show ample concentration and ripeness on the finish.
