Light and soft, with little persistence and intensity once past the berry/black currant-scented nose, the 1998 Cabernet Sauvignon Quarry Vineyard will be a candidate for early consumption, over the next 7-8 years. Tel. (707) 963-7115; Fax (707) 963-1735

Red-ruby. Redcurrant, tobacco and a floral note on the nose. Moderately fleshy and a bit simple, but with attractive red berry fruitiness supported by juicy acids. Has good length for the vintage. Seems best suited for early consumption. Winemaker Sbragia is confident that this vineyard has the potential to be part of the winery reserve program.
