Tasting notes
Pale ruby, the 2014 Pinot Noir Emmaline Ann Vineyard is scented of underbrush, mushrooms and wet bark with a background of dried red fruits and touches of graphite. The light-bodied palate offers a darker, more savory profile, firm tannins and good freshness with a long, nuanced finish.

The 2014 Pinot Noir Emmaline Ann Vineyard offers notable aromatic intensity and perfume in a weightless, gracious style that holds considerable near to medium term appeal. Cedar, mint, dried flowers and sweet red cherry all lift from the glass in this gracious, exquisite Pinot. All the elements simply fall into place with effortless grace.
The 2014 Pinot Noir Emmaline Ann Vineyard is a soft, open knit-wine with lovely citrus-inflected brightness and intensity, but in the classic mid-weight Cobb style. The 50% clusters add lift, but are also very nicely integrated. The 2014 could use another year or two to soften. It is quite impressive and delicious, even at this early stage.
