Score 93/100 · Drink 2023-2035, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Dec 2023

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Family Estate Reserve has evidently evolved nicely since it was last reviewed in 2017 (89 points). It's slightly more herbal than the 2019 but in a nice way, with hints of sage, tobacco and cedar accenting cassis and black cherries. Full-bodied and silky, it shows ample concentration and length on the finish.

The most expensive cuvee is the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Family Estate Reserve and it’s 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot and the rest Malbec, aged in 93% new French oak. It offers a stunning bouquet of blueberries, scorched earth, cassis, and vanilla as well as a big, rich, full-bodied style on the palate. With beautiful depth of fruit, integrated acidity, sweet tannin and a great finish, it’s a great value in Napa Valley Cabernet and easily the top wine in the lineup.
