2021 Stark-Conde Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Stellenbosch is blended with purchased fruit since the wildfire had depleted their plantings, though the Cabernet Franc and Malbec components come entirely from the estate. The perfumed nose has peppermint-tinged black fruit, quite generous with touches of cedar. The palate is medium-bodied with crunchy black fruit and fine grip, a little powdery in texture with a cohesive, slightly peppery finish. Fine.
