Tasting notes
The 2017 Red Blend Coeur de Vigne is composed of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot and 3% Malbec. Deep garnet-purple in color, it has a pretty bouquet garni and underbrush-laced perfume over a core of warm cassis, plus hints of tobacco, new leather and damp soil. Medium to full-bodied, it has a pleasant chewiness to the texture and bags of freshness supporting the elegant fruit, finishing long and fragrant. 1,926 cases were made.

Blackberry, blueberry, cigar box and woody notes on the nose. Itâs full-bodied with firm tannins. Chewy and structured with a chalky texture and a flavorful finish with chocolate undertones. Needs at least two or three years to come around.
The 2017 Coeur De Vigne (75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, and the rest Malbec) offers a medium to full-bodied, nicely textured style as well as attractive mulberry and Bing cherry fruits, plenty of chocolaty spice and herbal notes, good balance, and a solid sense of elegance. It should keep for 10-12 years.
