Tasting notes
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon GTS leaps from the glass with vivacious black cherries, wild blueberries and cassis notes plus touches of lavender, wild thyme, cedar chest and forest floor. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is charged with energetic black and red berry layers framed by ripe, grainy tannins and bold freshness, finishing long and perfumed.

The 2016 GTS Cabernet Sauvignon from Seaver Vineyards is powerful, dense and savory, with tons of Diamond Mountain character. Iron, smoke, grilled herbs, leather, licorice, and menthol imbue the 2016 with tons of complexity. Inky and deep, with huge tannins that need time to soften, the 2016 is loaded with personality. Give it time.
An impressive wine, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon is shaping up to be a real beauty. Powerful and dense, with terrific balance, the 2016 is remarkably harmonious for a young mountain Cabernet. A host of savory and floral notes develop in the glass, adding layers of dimension.
