The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (100% Cabernet) is deep garnet-purple colored and gives up very classy cassis and cigar box notes with nuances of underbrush, cedar chest, pencil lead and smoked meats. Medium to full-bodied, the palate delivers mouth-coating blackcurrant flavors with loads of earthy sparks and a firm, grainy-textured finish. 300 cases produced, to be released in August 2019.
