Tasting notes
The classic 2014 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is beauty. Ripe, sexy, deep and impressively concentrated, with lots of blueberry, cassis, chocolaty oak and Asian spice, it packs a punch with regards to its fruit, and is full-bodied and unctuous on the palate. Drink this sumptuous Cabernet anytime over the coming decade or more.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is a classic Mike Smith wine built on power, richness and intensity. Dark, jammy fruit, chocolate and spice notes are fused together in the glass. This is absolutely delicious Napa Valley Cabernet made in an opulent, flamboyant style. It will drink well with minimal cellaring. In my view, the appellation Cabernet is the hidden gem in this lineup. Dollops of Merlot and Petit Verdot round out the blend. Fruit sources are Kenefick Ranch, McGah, Three Twins and Las Amigas.
