Tasting notes
Composed of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon with 5% Merlot, the 1994 Cabernet Sauvignon Signature is pale to medium brick in color with a glorious nose of kirsch and black cherry pie with underlying notions of violets, dark chocolate, black soil and menthol plus a waft of sweaty leather. Medium to full-bodied, it has a solid backbone of grainy tannins with great freshness, finishing long and fruity.

(13% alcohol): Good deep red. Claret-like aromas of redcurrant, tobaccco, lead pencil, licorice and menthol. Supple on entry, then energetic in the middle, showing a slightly medicinal cast to its red berry, tobacco leaf and spice flavors. Finishes a bit clenched, with substantial dusty tannins.
