Score 90/100 · Drink 2016-2026, Robert Parker, Dec 2016
The least expensive wine in the Cade portfolio is their 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley, a blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12 % and 9% Malbec. This is a soft, juicy, fruit-forward Cabernet Sauvignon that fits the vintage profile. Beautifully dark ruby/purple with plenty of cassis, black cherry and plum, the wine is medium to full-bodied with supple tannins and lushness in a front-end loaded, consumer-friendly style. Drink it over the next decade.

Cade’s 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon is a concentrated wine with real structure and density and seems almost too big and masculine for a 2014. It has great purity and black fruits and richness and should have a good 15 or more years of drinkability.
