Score 93-95/100 · William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Jan 2024
The 2022 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers has turned out brilliantly, bursting with notes of sweet red berries, rose petals, exotic spices and blood orange. Medium to full-bodied, layered and velvety, with an unctuous core of fruit, supple tannins and lively acids, it concludes with a saline, peony-inflected finish. This may rival the 2020.

About the producer

Domaine Duroche
Domaine Duroché has, under Pierre Duroché, become one of the most sought-out and respected wine domaines in Gevrey-Chambertin. The wines are delicate and detailed, yet with old-vine intensity, a clear sense of place and style – and it’s easy to see why they’ve rapidly become so in-demand.
