Tasting notes
The 2009 Vougeot les Cras is another wine that has begun to close in on itself. Sweet red berries, flowers and spices emerge gradually from this mid-weight, slightly fleeting wine. The use of 50% whole clusters comes through in the wine's expressive bouquet and gracious, medium-bodied structure. There is an awful lot to like.

The 2009 Vougeot Les Cras is a mid-weight translucent red. Sweet spices, menthol and flowers add complexity to the dark fruit. The Cras is sensual, round and inviting all the way to the finish. This is a gorgeous, inviting wine. The Cras has 50% whole bunches and 45% new oak.
