Tasting notes
Light pink. Mineral-accented red berry and pit fruit aromas are complemented by a building floral topnote. Silky and smooth on the palate, offering ripe strawberry, tangerine and white peach flavors that take on a honeyed nuance with air. Shows very good persistence on the finish, which leaves a repeating pit fruit note behind. - Josh Raynolds

Mainly Grenache and Cinsault with a little Syrah and Vermentino. Some is fermented in 600-litre barrels. Whispering allowed to talk out loud? Much subtler nose than Whispering Angel with some smokiness. Real grasp of the palate. More suitable for food than as an aperitif. A light chew on the palate at the end. Proper wine with some character. May be the best-value wine from this stable. (JR)
A blend of Grenache and Cinsault, with small bits of Syrah and Rolle, the 2019 Cotes de Provence Rose Rock Angel sees a touch of barrel fermentation in 600-liter demi-muids, which has rounded off any edges and added a pinch of dried spices to the wine's mellow notes of cherries, white peach, melon and citrus. It's medium-bodied and generous on the palate, with noticeable mocha on the finish.
